Displayname

The Apply button on the "Name" ribbon panel applies the current display name rule to the open Inventor document. Please refer to the "Display Name" section in the Settings for more information.

The Reset button resets the display name to its default value, which is typically based on the document's name. For assemblies, the command also resets the names of components to their default names. Sub-assemblies and their components are also recursively reset.
